I had a great day shooting the food from Chef Russell Brown – but this time i didn’t get a look in. Our normal rules of conduct when shooting food photography include the “2 fork principle”, once the food is shot we (Chef Russell Brown) and I dive in and sample the fine delights.
As I shot the head-to-head cook off between Chef Russell and Chef Matt Follas I was imagining enjoying a hearty lunch. But no, the audience gave a round of applause… and dived in!
Before I could even fit the lens cap back into place, it was gone. But what a great event – well done to Micheal Caines and the team. See you all next time at the Exeter Food Festival.
